Sections, also called cross sections, section drawings or section cuts, show a building as if it were sliced vertically. The first video on this page shows how to create, edit and dimension 2D sections in Plan7Architect.
The second video goes further and covers editing, dimensioning and printing sections. Section drawings are a standard part of building permit drawings, and Plan7Architect can export plans as PDF, DWG or DXF.
