Plan7Architect Won’t Start After Installation – How to Fix It
In most cases, Plan7Architect fails to start because Windows is not set to English (USA) and the date format is not set to US standard. Please follow the steps below in order:
1. Set Windows Language to English (USA)
The software requires Windows to be in English to function correctly.
How to check/change it:

Go to Settings → Time & Language → Language

Under Windows display language, select English (United States)
2. Set Date Format to US Standard
Incorrect regional settings may prevent the program from starting.
How to set this in Windows:

Go to Settings → Time & Language → Region

Under Regional format, select English (United States)

Click on “Change data formats”

Make sure the following is set:

Short date: MM/dd/yyyy

This step alone often solves the issue. Please restart your computer and try launching the program again.
If the problem persists, proceed with the following steps below.
3. Uninstall and Reinstall as Administrator
If the program still won’t start:

Uninstall the software

Reinstall it by right-clicking the setup file and choosing “Run as administrator”
4. Try Starting Multiple Times or Launch Manually
Sometimes, the software only launches on the second or third attempt.
If that fails:

Open this folder manually:
C:\Program Files\Plan7Architect -
Right-click on Plan7ArchitectPro.exe
