In addition to the shortcuts displayed within the program, here is an overview of various keyboard shortcuts and mouse combinations in Plan7Architekt:
- ESC – Cancel the currently selected element/function
- F4 – Show/hide the lower menu area
- F5 – Show/hide external dimensioning in 2D mode
- F6 – Show/hide the top menu
- F8 – Show/hide the left menu
- F12 – Switch between 2D and 3D mode (including shadow calculation)
- CTRL + W – Align the work point to an element (useful for wall positioning)
- CTRL + D – Align an element to the work point (useful for object positioning)
- CTRL + C – Copy the selected element
- CTRL + V – Paste the copied element
- CTRL + A – Cut the selected element
- TAB – (When an element is selected) Select and enter distance and angle in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
- Left Mouse Button – Select, activate, place
- Right Mouse Button – Open element/function properties
- CTRL + Z – Undo the last action
In 2D Construction Mode:
- Hold Right Mouse Button + Move Mouse – Move in the respective direction
- Mouse Wheel – Zoom in and out
In 3D Visualization:
- Mouse Wheel – Zoom in and out
- Hold Right Mouse Button + Move Mouse – Rotate the view around the selected point
- Hold Mouse Wheel + Move Mouse – Move the view in the respective direction
- Arrow Keys – Move the view in the respective direction
- [Left Mouse Click] – Select an element/object and open the online dimensioning matrix around it
- [Right Mouse Click] – Display functions and properties of the selected element/object
