Question:
The software crashes frequently and contains many German words – what can I do?
This issue is usually caused by incorrect installation or incompatible Windows regional settings. Please try the following solutions to resolve it:
1. Reinstall the software as Administrator
- Uninstall the software completely.
- Then reinstall it by right-clicking the Setup.exe file and selecting “Run as administrator”.
- Also always start the software as administrator (right-click > “Run as administrator”).
Without admin rights, some paths and database files may not be correctly created, which can cause crashes or missing translations.
2. Set your Windows language and region to English
The software requires English language and date format settings in Windows. If your system uses a different language (e.g., French, Italian, Dutch), it may cause unexpected behavior or frequent crashes.
To fix this:
- Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region
- Set Windows display language to English (United Kingdom or United States)
- Adjust date, time, and number format to match English settings
- Restart your PC
- Then, uninstall and reinstall the software as administrator (see step 1 above)
These changes ensure that the software can run correctly and all texts are displayed in English.
