Question:
Does Plan7Architect work on Mac?
Plan7Architect is currently a Windows-based application, and there is no native Mac version or web-based version available at this time.
However, many Mac users successfully run the software on their devices using virtualization tools like Parallels Desktop. This allows you to install Windows on your Mac and use Plan7Architect just like on a Windows PC — seamlessly and without restrictions.
Important: If you’re using a Mac with an M1, M2, M4, M4 (Apple Silicon) chip, Parallels still works perfectly with the Windows version of Plan7Architect.
We personally use Plan7Architect on the latest MacBooks with the new M4 chip – and it runs smoothly.
