How to Update Plan7Architect?

  1. Uninstall the Existing Software
    Important: Projects you have previously created and saved will not be lost.
    Only custom objects or elements that you manually saved inside the software might be lost during uninstallation.
    → To keep them, copy the following two folders before uninstalling:
    C:/ProgramData/Plan7ArchitectPro/Databases
    C:/ProgramData/Plan7ArchitectPro/My Databases
    (Most users don’t need to do this — only if you’ve saved your own objects.)

  2. Download the Latest Version
    Log in to your account at plan7architect.com, go to Downloads, and download the software again.
    The link always provides the most recent version.

  3. Extract the ZIP Folder
    After downloading, right-click the ZIP file and extract it.

  4. Install as Administrator
    Right-click on Setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator to complete the installation properly.
